Minus40 is thrilled to announce the donation of one of it’s MED75GHD Medical Fridges to St. Joseph’s in Cape Town.
The medical fridge will play a crucial role as being used to store the essential milk the children of St. Joseph’s require each day.
St. Joseph’s is the only Paediatric Transitional Intermediate Care Facility in Southern Africa and has given over 25 000 medically fragile children a second chance at childhood.
They provide 24-hour general and specialised nursing care, multi-disciplinary interventions including rehabilitation (physio, occupational and speech therapy), full-time social work- and counselling support; on-site pre and primary school education, special nutritional programmes, parental education and empowerment, logistical support and pastoral care
The work St. Joseph’s and their team does is beyond incredible and, when on site, you can really see and feel the impact they make in each child’s life.
